HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013
Spring Yappy Hour Thursday, April 18, 2013 5:00-8:00pm
The weather has warmed up enough to bring back Yappy Hours for 2013. Greyhound Adoption will be our benefactor this month. Greyhound Adoption is a long standing and distiguished rescue here in NE Ohio and we could be more proud to help support their efforts! Come out on Thursday and enjoy Beer, Wine and plenty of Food. $5 suggested donation to Greyhound Adoption gets you in and please bring your favorite four legged furry friend to share the evening with. There will be a 50/50 raffle as well Pet-Tique raffle baskets! Come enjoy Cleveland Outside!!!
Clifton Arts and Music Festival Saturday June 2013
Come join us at one of the only pet friendly art festivals in Cleveland located on Clifton Boulevard between W. 112 and W. 117. We will have a booth located near the Starbucks at W. 115 and Clifton Blvd. The store will be open as well to take a break from the heat. Come and see the many artists representing multiple medias as well as the plant garden, childrens activity center, food vendors, live performers and the Clifton Merchants. It's a blast every year!! Art Fur Animals Friday, June 2013
The 8th Annual event is Cleveland Kennels largest fundraiser of the year with inspiring artwork donated by artists many of which are local Clevelanders! Tickets include the ability to bid on artwork in both live and silent auctions, raffle prizes, hor dourves, wine and beer served by the celebrity bartenders and music by DJ Funk-Shway. Summer Scoop 2012 Sunday August 2013 1:00pm-5:00pm
This annual event is The Sanctuary For Senior Dogs main fundraiser. This event will be held at the Oak Grove Pavilion in the Brecksville Reservation, part of the Cleveland Metroparks. We will be joining other vendors to support this wonderful rescue which focuses on assisting dogs 7 years of age or older in finding forever homes. Food, Ice Cream, activities, photos, raffle prizes and of course appearances of local celebrities will all be part of the fun. Come checkout the event and our booth.
Warehouse District Street Festival Sunday August 4, 2013 12:00pm-8:00pm
Pet-Tique will be providing the Award Baskets for the 4th Annual Cleveland Cutest Dog Contest. Fill out a registration form at the booth between 12noon and 3:30pm with the contest starting at 4pm. Enter your dog to win as all dogs, breeds, sizes and ages are welcome. The panel of judges will not be judging the dogs but the costumes based on cuteness, creativity, unique and use of color. Canine Fun Days Saturday & Sunday, August 2013 10:00am-5:00pm
What started out as the Greyhounds adoption reunion has grown into a 2 day event that draws thousands of people annually to take part in the activities for dogs and humans, demonstrations, vendors, food, and over 25 rescue organizations. All breeds are encouraged to attend. Held each year on the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Fields at Route 87 and Chagrin River Road. Tremont Arts Cultural Festival Saturday & Sunday, September 2013
Ranked as one of Cleveland's Best art festivals, admission is free and dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed. Come stroll through Lincoln Park and the surrounding streets full of local artists and vendors selling the most unique of things. Food and fun is plentiful. Doggie Doo Pooch Parade Saturday, September 2013 10:00am-5:00pm
Held each year on the Square in Oberlin, Ohio, this event is a host to vendors, rescues, food and fun. The day ends with a pet parade that begins at 3:30pm featuring dogs in everything from their birthday suits to elaborate costumes. Visit Oberlin.org/doggiedoo/parage.html for more information.
Yappy Hour DogtoberFest Thursday, October 2013 5:00pm-9:00pm
Time for our biggest bash yet with tents in the parkinglot allowing for plenty of room! Our annual Progressive Halloween costume party with Inn The Dog House is back again! The party starts at Pet-Tique at 5:00pm till 7:00pm with beer, wine, food benefitting rescue to be named, before it moves to Inn The Dog House from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Earn raffle tickets for each place you visit with each venue offering food and beverage for the humans and their furry friends. Pet-Tique will be debuting our 2nd round of winter coats and sweaters while the actual costume contest and raffles will be held at Inn The Dog House. This party is always a scream!! David Uschold Photography will be on hand with his photo booth and Spooky Pooch Parade representatives will be on hand to talk to you about signing up for the Costume Parade.
Spooky Pooch Parade Saturday, October 2013 12:30pm - 3:30 pm
This annual event can't help but put a smile on your face. A parade of costumes both canine and human makes it's way through downtown Lakewood culminating in an award ceremony. Chinese raffle and grand prizes of One full year of free dog food. This year's proceeds to benefit Lakewood Animal Shelter and Lakewood Alive. Last year boasted over 400 registered dogs for the parade and costume contest which takes over Detroit Ave in downtown Lakewood with 3,500 parade watchers. We will be there with one of the many vendor booths, food trucks, guest Radio personality and other great food and beverage!
Monster Mutt Dash Saturday, October 2013 10:00am - 1:00 pm
The 5K run and 1 mile Fun Walk kick off at 10am where you can walk with your dog. Join in the costume contest, shop the vendors and play the games at the after party from 11:00am to 1pm. This annual event attracts over 800 people annually raising money to benefit Berea Animal Rescue Friends (Berea ARF). Pet-Tique is a proud sponsor of this event and even prouder supporter of the work that Berea Arf does for our dog and cat communities!!
Fur Ball Gala Saturday, November 2013 Starts 5:30pm
This evening of Cold Noses, Warm Hearts includes dinner, bars, raffles, auction and music all to benefit the APL. Held this year at the InterContinental Hotel, this Gala promises to be the warm, exciting, and rewarding good time that it is every year. for tickets please call April Clark at (216) 771- 8823 or visit the website at www.clevelandapl.org . We are donating a Dog basket and a Cat basket to the silent auction which is always a collection of great FUN! This annual event to support the Cleveland APL sells out every year with only 300 tickets available.
