HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012

Valentine's Yappy Hour                   Thursday, February 9, 2012      5:00pm-8:00pm

Come join us for the 2012 Yappy Hour Season kick off!  This month we are helping Muttley Crue raise money to cover over $3500 in vet bills incurred to nurse poor Sophie back to health.  She is now in her forever home right here in the neighborhood after being rescued from the dog bait ring busted a couple weeks back.  Our friends a Zappetilli's of Lakewood have graciously agreed to donate the food for this event.  Cole from Sojo's dog food and treats will be at the store with samples of several new treat lines that we are adding to Pet-Tique's line up including one of our customer's favorites for 2011, the Good Dog Treats by Sojos. 

Four Legged Pet Fashion Show               Saturday, February 11, 2012    5:00pm - 6:00pm

We are back at the Great Big Home and Garden Show at the IX Center for the second year.  Alan Fee will be hosting with personalities from 102.1, Q104 and their CBS affiliates walking their dog models including several APL adoptees.  This event was great fun last year and we are showing some of the upcoming spring and summer fashions so come check us out!!

Clifton Arts and Music Festival        Saturday   June, 2012           10:00am-6:00pm

Come join us at one of the only pet friendly art festivals in Cleveland located on Clifton Boulevard between W. 112 and W. 117.  We will have a booth located near the Starbucks at W. 115 and Clifton Blvd.  The store will be open as well to take a break from the heat.  Come and see the many artists representing multiple medias as well as the plant garden, childrens activity center, food vendors, live performers and the Clifton Merchants.  It's a blast every year!!  See you there!!

Summer Scoop 2012           Sunday August 2012                          12:00pm-4:00pm 

This annual event is The Sanctuary For Senior Dogs main fundraiser.  This event will be held at the Oak Grove Pavilion in the Brecksville Reservation, part of the Cleveland Metroparks.  We will be joining other vendors to support this wonderful rescue which focuses on assisting dogs 7 years of age or older in finding forever homes.  Food, Ice Cream, activities, photos, raffle prizes and of course appearances of local celebrities will all be part of the fun.  Come checkout the event and our booth.

Warehouse District Street Festival    Sunday August 2012         12:00pm-8:00pm

Pet-Tique will be providing the Award Baskets for the 3rd Annual Cleveland Cutest Dog Contest.  Enter your dog to win as all dogs, breeds, sizes and ages are welcome.  The panel of judges will not be judging the dogs but the costumes based on cuteness, creativity, unique and use of color.  To enter your dog, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Subject line:  Cleveland's Cutest Dog Contest.  $10 registration fee per dog.  Come and enjoy the contest as well as the street festival including food entertainment, childrens activities, vendors and live performance all on West 6th Street from Frankfort to Lakeside 

Canine Fun Days            Saturday & Sunday, August 2012    10:00am-5:00pm

What started out as the Greyhounds adoption reunion has grown into a 2 day event that draws thousands of people annually to take part in the activities for dogs and humans, demonstrations, vendors, food, and over 25 rescue organizations.  All breeds are encouraged to attend.  Held each year on the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Fields at Route 87 and Chagrin River Road.  Go to www.greyhoundadoptionofohio.org/caninefundays.html for more information. 

Tremont Arts Cultural Festival      Saturday & Sunday, September 2012   

Ranked as one of Cleveland's Best art festivals, admission is free and dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed.  Come stroll through Lincoln Park and the surrounding streets full of local artists and vendors selling the most unique of things.  Food and fun is plentiful.  Saturday is from 11:00am-6:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm

Doggie Doo Pooch Parade        Saturday, October 2012          10:00am-5:00pm

Held each year on the Square in Oberlin, Ohio, this event is a host to vendors, rescues, food and fun.  The day ends with a pet parade that begins at 3:30pm featuring dogs in everything from their birthday suits to elaborate costumes.  Visit Oberlin.org/doggiedoo/parage.html for more information.

Spooky Pooch Parade        Saturday, October 2012              12:00pm - 3:00 pm

Come and join our try to enter the Guiness Book of World Records for number of costumed dogs in a parade.  This annual event can't help but put a smile on your face.  A parade of costumes both canine and human makes it's way through downtown Lakewood culminating in an award ceremony.  Chinese raffle and grand prizes of One full year of free dog food and 2 free 15# bags of Fromm dog food for 6 months.  This year's proceeds to benefit Lakewood Animal Shelter and Lakewood Alive.  Last year boasted over 250 registered dogs for the parade and contest which takes over Detroit Ave in downtown Lakewood.  We will be there with one of the many vendor booths, guest Radio personality and some great food too!

DogtoberFest Yappy Hour   Thursday, October 2012         5:00pm-9:00pm

Time for our biggest bash yet with tents in the parkinglot allowing for plenty of room!  Our annual Progressive Halloween costume party with Inn The Dog House and Northcoast Dogs is back again!  The party starts at Pet-Tique at 5:00pm till 7:00pm with beer, wine, food before it moves to Inn The Dog House and Northcoast Dogs from 7:00pm-9:00pm.  Earn raffle tickets for each place you visit with each venue offering food and beverage for the humans and their furry friends.  Pet-Tique will be debuting our new line of winter coats and sweaters while the actual costume contest and raffles will be held at Inn The Dog House.  This party is always a scream!!
